ABOUT THE MAX AWARDS

The MAX Awards were created in recognition of KABA Members who show superior Marketing and Advertising eXcellence. The prestigious MAX Award is given to Builders, Developers, Remodelers, and Associate Members who made significant and creative contributions in residential and commercial marketing through specific achievements during the current year.

MAX AWARDS BANQUET

Award winners will be announced and honored at the MAX Awards Banquet on December 6, 2025.

APPLICATION FOR THE MAX AWARDS – Must be a current KABA member in good standing to enter.

Only those materials or products marketed or constructed within the jurisdiction of the Kearney Area Builders Association (which includes Buffalo, Dawson, Franklin, Furnas, Gosper, Harlan, Kearney, Phelps, Sherman, Chase, Frontier, Hayes, Keith, Lincoln, Logan, McPherson, Perkins and Red Willow Counties) during the current calendar year are eligible for competition. No entry will be judged without payment of entry fee. All entries must adhere to the exact entry requirements and judging criteria. Failure to comply with these specifications will result in disqualification of entry and forfeiture of the entry fees. Categories with fewer than three entries may be excluded from award consideration and entry fees refunded.  Projects completed within November 1, 2024 – October 31, 2025 are eligible for the MAX Awards. Applications accepted through October 31, 2025. 

JUDGING

Judges are selected from KABA’s jurisdiction and are among the most creative and successful individuals within the home building industry while also representing the many disciplines contributing to new home sales and marketing. Judges are ineligible for entry. Judges reserve the right to eliminate any category where the quality of work does not warrant a winner. All decisions of the judges are final.

NAHB’s AWARDS

For maximum exposure and recognition, winners of the MAX Awards should elect to register their winning project(s) in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Award Programs.
