Congratulations to Pedro Nunez Jr. and Dakota Franks! KABA’s first students to receive the KABA Scholarships graduated from CCC in Hastings. Both students set such good examples for not only our other students in the Scholarship/Mentoring Program but set the bar high for future winners. Good luck to both in their future!
A special thank you to Jeff Heiden (Dakota’s mentor) and Andy Spracklen (Pedro’s mentor) for teaching the students the skills needed in our building industry. Because of your mentorship and CCC’s instruction, these students competed in SkillsUSA Nebraska in the Teamwork division and both years they placed first winning them a trip to Nationals. Well done!

Monthly Meetings

KABA meets monthly for networking, dinner and presentations. These presentations include speakers brought in to educate our membership on new products that are available, correct installation of products, and new codes and regulations that are being introduced. Often times, we have NAHB Reps and/or NSHBA reps speak at the meetings updating members on important issues happening at the national level and the state level.

KABA meets the 3rd Tuesday of most months at Kearney Concrete Co. (315 South Railroad St.) but at times the meetings are elsewhere for special occasions. Check our Newsletter each month (found on the Home page) for locations and times.
